Ask the Champions! Jiří Mičánek and Josef Záruba from Mičánek Motorsport powered by Buggyra to Join the Discussion at Racing Expo

30/10/2025

How tough is the road to four prestigious titles in just two years? Visitors to Racing Expo in Prague’s Letňany will find out directly from the newly crowned GT2 European Series champions of the Mičánek Motorsport powered by Buggyra team. Fans eager to meet Jiří Mičánek and driver Josef Záruba in person should head to Letňany on Saturday afternoon. Throughout the weekend, visitors will also be able to admire the team’s Lamborghini Huracán ST EVO on display in full race livery.

At the traditional Racing Expo, the Huracán in Mičánek Motorsport team colours will take pride of place within the Buggyra exhibition stand. Visitors will have the chance to get an up-close look at the car that the team fields in the GT2 European Series, Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe, and the Central European Championship. Over the past two years, the team has claimed titles in all three arenas — two European and two Czech championships.

“We’re looking forward to giving people a deeper insight into how our team operates and what it really takes to achieve the kind of success we’ve enjoyed over the past two years,” says Jiří Mičánek, inviting fans to join the discussion on Saturday at 2:30 p.m., when he and the moderator will take to the stage.

Visitors will be able to admire the Lamborghini Huracán ST EVO throughout the entire weekend. The Huracán remains one of the last true naturally aspirated V10s still competing in significant numbers on European circuits — and it even has its own dedicated series, the prestigious Lamborghini Super Trofeo, where Mičánek Motorsport powered by Buggyra claimed the European title last year.
“But we won’t just be reminiscing about 2024,” notes Jiří Mičánek. “This year, we competed in two Super Trofeo rounds and took two victories.” Shortly after Racing Expo, the team will be heading off to the final event of the season — and, above all, the World Final of the series.

This year’s season review, however, will focus mainly on the GT2 European Series, where Bronislav Formánek and Štefan Rosina captured the European championship title, as well as the domestic circuit season, in which Josef Záruba and Jakub Knoll dominated the GTC class.

In total, Racing Expo will feature 38,000 square metres of exhibition space, showcasing more than a thousand cars and motorcycles. Jiří Mičánek and Josef Záruba will be among over twenty distinguished guests attending the event in person. A one-day ticket to the exhibition is priced at 500 CZK.
