Motorsport fans in the Czech Republic will have the chance to see the Lamborghini Huracán ST EVO2 race cars of the Mičánek Motorsport powered by Buggyra team at two different venues. The team will make its debut appearance at the Legendy exhibition in Prague, and on Sunday, another car will head to the Veterans’ Gathering at the Kovozoo park in Staré Město near Uherské Hradiště.

„For the first time, Legendy doesn’t clash with any of our race weekends. The organisers have approached us regularly in the past, but we’ve never been able to fit it into our schedule to bring the cars along. This year, it’s finally worked out,” says team manager Jiří Mičánek Jr. The renowned event, where owners from across Central Europe showcase their racing, sports and luxury cars, traditionally takes place at the Holešovice Exhibition Grounds in Prague.

Equally popular is the Veterans’ Gathering, held in the Slovácko region at the Kovozoo complex – a unique entertainment park in Staré Město. “At both venues, we’ll bring authentic racing cars – the very same ones we compete with in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe championship,” says Jiří Mičánek. He also shares the technical details of the EVO2 version, which made its debut in 2022. The most fascinating part of the car lies behind the driver’s seat – the Huracán is currently the last GT car that truly lives up to the old saying, there’s no replacement for displacement. It relies on a naturally aspirated Lamborghini V10 engine producing 620 horsepower.

The cars appearing at both events boast an impressive list of achievements. This season, Bronislav Formánek and Štefan Rosina claimed victories in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe series, while last year, the car driven by Jáchym Galáš dominated the Central European and Czech circuit racing championships. Just three weeks ago, the team competed at the World Finals on the legendary Spa-Francorchamps circuit, and in two weeks’ time, they’ll head to the iconic Le Mans, where their championship will run alongside the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The Legendy exhibition in Prague is open on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., while on Sunday both events share the same opening hours, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
