Exactly one year ago, the Lamborghini Huracán ST EVO2 of Mičánek Motorsport powered by Buggyra crossed the chequered flag at the Masaryk Circuit, securing the Czech championship title for the team and driver Jáchym Galáš. Now, fans can admire one of the world’s fastest GT cup cars at the Vaňkovka shopping centre.
The car will remain on display until next Monday, inviting fans to the next edition of the Masaryk Racing Days at the Brno Automotodrom. The same vehicle will once again be fighting for the title—this time with Jakub Knoll and Josef Záruba at the wheel in the endurance one-hour race. “Celebrating a title on your home track is always the best feeling you can wish for. We managed it last year, and I hope we can repeat it this year,” says Jiří Mičánek Jr., team manager of Mičánek Motorsport powered by Buggyra.
He runs a fleet of five Huracáns in Czech national colours across two circuit series and hill climb events. “We’re proud to be promoting the biggest circuit event of this autumn at the Masaryk Circuit together with Automotodrom Brno. I believe that once visitors see the car at Galerie Vaňkovka, they’ll have even more reason to come to the circuit and watch it race for real,” adds Mičánek.
Compared to Galerie Vaňkovka, fans will see even more of the same cars on the race track, with the team planning to field at least two vehicles. One of them will go head-to-head for the championship title. Visitors to the Masaryk Racing Days at the Brno Automotodrom can also look forward to plenty more action. The finale of the Central European circuit season will be accompanied by the prestigious European touring car championship, TCR Europe, and fans will also enjoy the spectacle of formula racing—whether through the FIA F4 CEZ series or an exhibition of real F1 cars from the turn of the millennium.
Tickets for the Masaryk Racing Days can be purchased via the Automotodrom Brno website, with a limited number of VIP passes also available. VIP ticket holders will enjoy the comfort of the exclusive lounge, complete with a view of the Masaryk Circuit’s main straight.
