He is a Czech racing driver, currently piloting the Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo Evo. Previously, he competed in the Porsche Super Sport Cup and the Austrian Dunlop Drift Challenge. In 2010 and 2011, he claimed championship titles in both the Czech Republic and Germany.

Mičánek began his motorsport journey in karting before moving into car competitions at the start of the 2008 season. He made his circuit racing debut in the German VW Polo Cup, finishing sixth in the Rookies classification on his first attempt. Tomáš continued in the series of identical VW Polo cars the following year, concluding the season in tenth overall. Progressing both in skill and equipment, he moved on from the small Polo to piloting Porsches under the colours of Mičánek Motorsport. Demonstrating his keen racing acumen, Tomáš closed his debut Porsche season with two victories. Together with his brother Jiří, he claimed the title in the highly competitive 3.5-litre class of the Czech Republic’s international endurance championship, and added another trophy from circuits in Germany. Although Tomáš was the youngest driver on the grids of the Porsche Super Sport Cup, he proved unbeatable in the final series standings.
